The EAA is introducing a staged registration model to identify accountable operators and, where applicable, individual unmanned aircraft used in regulated activities.
How registration is expected to work
- Operator account creation with contact and accountability details.
- Aircraft declaration including class, mass range and intended operation type.
- Issue of operator identifier for display where required.
What the future register will do
The future service will provide secure account management, renewal reminders and status confirmation for compliance checks.
